I, Olawumi joined the Department of Pure and Applied Biology on May 6, 1994 as a Laboratory Attendant. I was promoted to the position of Senior Laboratory Supervisor on 1st October 2011. I conduct practicals for both lower and higher levels and any other duties assigned to me by superior officers.

I assist in collection of materials needed for practicals, i also involves in preservation of biological specimens for practicals, storage of specimens/material for teaching and research purposes, assisting lecturers and students in the research work.I maintain laboratory equipment, and assists in preparation of reagents and cleaning of glass wares.I assist both students and technologists in the area of alberium.
