Brief about me

Dr Akintola Adebola Olayemiis a lecturer and a researcher in the Department of Science Laboratory Technology (Biochemistry Unit), LadokeAkintola University Of Technology, Ogbomoso, Oyo State ,Nigeria. She holds a Bachelor degree in Biochemistry from OlabisiOnabanjo University in 1997, a postgraduate Diploma in Education from Usman DanfodioUniversity, Sokoto in 2005, as well as Masters and Doctorate degree also in Biochemistry from the University of Ibadan in 2003 and 2015 respectively. She joined LadokeAkintola University as an Assistant Lecturer in 2006 and rose to the position of a Reader in 2018. She has trained and graduated many students. She has published 42 articles in reputable journals. Her current research activities includes the  therapeutic effects of some economically important plants as possible source of new drugs from herbal medicine for alternative medicine therapy and green synthesis of nanoparticles and their biological activities.DrAkintola is a member of Nigeria Society for Experimental Biology (NISEB) and Nigeria Institute of Science Laboratory Technology (NIST)and she has attended and participate in many local and international conferences and workshops.
