Dr. Johnson R. OLUREMI is a lecturer and researcher with specialization in Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Engineering. My research focuses on the application of geotechnical engineering to solve environmental problems. This involves management of solid waste, stabilization of unstable and unsuitable lateritic soil, for use as civil engineering material in the construction of road, waste repositories and biofilter. It also includes the remediation of inorganic and organic substances contaminated soil to a near or pristine state via geotechnical stabilization and solidification method using characterized agricultural and industrial waste materials which possess potential chemical qualities for their use as admixtures. I am highly motivated to teach and conduct creative independent research in collaboration with other researchers as valuable team players.
