Brief about me

Dr Kayode Akindele Ogunleye was born on July 1, 1967 and had his primary and secondary schools education in Ogbomoso before proceeding to University of Jos where he had his first degree in English Language in 1990. He also had his Masters and PhD degrees in English Literature from Universities of Ilorin and Ibadan in 1999 and 2009 respectively.

Dr Ogunleye had earlier served as English Teacher as Asana Comprehensive High School, Ikot Abasi, Akwa Ibom state between 1990 and 1991 during his N.Y.S.C programme before his appointment as English Teacher by the Oyo State Ministry of Education in 1992. He joined Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) Ogbomoso in 1993 as Administrative Officer II.

Before he rose to the position of Deputy Registrar in 2010, he had served in almost all the major sections/units of the Registry Department such as: Faculty services as Faculty Officer, Secretary, College of Health Sciences, Head, Personnel Affairs Unit, Head, Council Affairs Unit and Head, Academic Affairs Unit. He also served in other capacities as member/secretary of some Panels and Committees in the university.

Before his assumption of duty as the fifth substantive Registrar of LAUTECH on February 14, 2019, Dr Ogunleye had earlier served as the second substantive Registrar of Bowen University, Iwo, Osun State from August 1, 2014 to February 13, 2019
