Brief about me

Dr ESAN, Akintomiwa Olumide is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Pure and Applied Chemistry, Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) Ogbomoso, Nigeria. He joined the University as a Graduate Assistant in the Department of Pure and Applied Chemistry in December 2009. He obtained his B.Tech Degree in Pure and Applied Chemistry (First Class Division), in 2008 as the Departmental Best Graduating Student. He also obtained his M.Sc Degree in Industrial Chemistry from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He bagged his Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Environmental Chemistry from the UniversitiSains Malaysia, Malaysia and was awarded the SanggarSanjung Award for excellent publications. He is a member of Nigerian Society of Physical Sciences (NSPS) and American Chemical Society (ACS). His research area focuses on bitumen modification, catalyst synthesis and characterization and biodiesel production. He has authored and co-authored many local and international scholarly articles and books. He is also a regular reviewer for reputable international journals.
