Mr. Ismaheel A. A. hold National Diploma in Financial Studies from Federal Polytechnic, Kaura Namoda, Higher National Diploma in Accountancy from the Polytechnic Ibadan and Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting with Second Class Upper from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso. He hold PGD in Management from Federal University of Technology, Akure and MBA (Financial Management) from Usman Danfodiyo University, Sokoto.
He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, a member of Information System and Control Association (ISACA) Canada, Member, Institute of Chartered Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), Member, Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA), United Kingdom and equally hold certificate in professional ethics from Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA) England and Wales.
Mr. Ismaheel A. A. started his career as an Audit Trainee with the Firm of Sulaimon & Co Chartered Accountants in 1997 and served with Central Bank of Nigeria between 2000 & 2001, worked as Company Accountant with Rima Plastic Limited between 2001 - 2004 and has worked as Regional Accountant (South West) with Africa Agro Product Limited and firm of J. O. Fashola and Co., Chartered Accountants between 2004 and 2005 before joining the services of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso in 2005, in the Internal Audit Department.
Mr. Ismaheel has worked across all the Units in the Internal Audit Department from 2015 till date and has served as head of Unit in the Loans and Advances Unit, Cash flow Management and Final Account Unit, Salaries and Wages Unit, Budget and Expenditure Control and System and Special Investigation Unit. He rose to the position of Deputy Director of Audit in 2015 and now Ag. Director of Audit.
Mr. Ismaheel has served in different Council Committees of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) including Professional Practice Monitoring Committee (PPMC) among others. Mr. Ismaheel served as the 5th Chairman of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) Ogbomoso/Oyo District Society. He was part of the team for the Audit of Nigeria Extractive Industry Transparence Initiative (NEITI AUDIT) 2017 and 2018 as well as World Bank Project of Osun State Development Agency (CSDP) 2019 & 2020.
