Dr. Quadri Jelili Akorede (RDN) obtained BSc, MSc, and PhD in Nutrition and Dietetics from the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Ogun State in 2007, 2011, and 2019 respectively. He became a registered dietitian in Nigeria in 2020 and in the United Kingdom in 2023. He is currently a Lecturer I in the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, Faculty of Food and Consumer Sciences, LAUTECH.

Dr. Quadri won awards from Dufil-Prima Foods Nigeria for an MSc in Nutrition and Dietetics (2011) and also from the Center for Bioethics and Research, USA, in collaboration with the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, for another Masters in Bioethics (2022). He has authored or co-authored more than 20 journal papers and more than 10 conference papers in international and national publishing outlets. He had served as an external examiner for HND students at Rufus Giwa Polytechnics, Ondo State, and a reviewer for journals at the national and international levels.

Dr. Quadri belongs to the following professional bodies: Nutrition Society of Nigeria: Institute for Dietetics in Nigeria, The Nutrition Society, UK, and a member of the American Society for Nutrition, USA.
