In 2019, she earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the prestigious University of Ilorin, showcasing a dedication to learning and excellence. Currently pursuing an MSc. degree at the same institution, Dr. Rom-Kalilu's focus lies on a captivating and crucial. research interest - anthelmintic resistance in cattle. This critical area of research seeks to address the growing concern of parasites developing resistance to commonly used dewormers, which poses a significant threat to the health and productivity of cattle. Leveraging past research, Dr. Rom-Kalilu has demonstrated expertise in exploring innovative solutions, as evidenced by empirically establishing the suitability of Turmeric as a feed additive and uncovering its oligospermia effect on goats.
