Brief about me

Dr. Agboola Olugbenga Solomon is a Courseware Developer, Online Instructor and Lecturer at the LAUTECH Open and Distance Learning Centre. He is highly skilled in teaching, research, administration, and consulting in the areas of accounting, finance, taxation, law and management. He holds a Ph.D. in Management and Accounting with research interest in the fields of social and environmental accounting, corporate governance as well as Education Technology. He is presently undergoing training to obtain a postgraduate certificate in educational management.

He is a lead researcher in the Environment, Social and Sustainable Accounting Research Group at the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology. He had volunteered and coordinated as a focal person in many government and non-governmental research activities. He is also the founder and coordinator of Waste to Wealth (W2W) as well as Campus Climate Club (Triple Cs) where he leads in advocacy, training and research initiatives. He is a member of Centre for Social and Environmental Accounting Research Nigeria, member of the Open and Distance Learning Association of Nigeria, Chattered Institute of Management Accountants of Nigeria, Institute of Customers Relationship Management and the Nigerian Institute of Management.

Dr. Agboola is a reviewer for some international conferences in Nigeria, Ghana and Uganda. He also serves as a reviewer to some Journals outlets both locally and internationally. He is an Editorial Assistant of the Journal of Open and Distance Learning domiciled at the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology. He had presented and published journal articles showcasing his expertise in accounting, finance and technology aided education.

Dr. Agboola is a highly motivated and experienced online facilitator. He has attended several local and international conferences, workshops and webinars on Open and Distance Learning. He is a grounded content developer and this is evident in the institutions he has worked with to develop their courseware materials. He is certified by the Common Wealth of Learning as a content expert and online facilitator.
