Brief about me

AWODELE, Mojoyinola Kofoworola (Ph.D) is a lecturer at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) Ogbomoso, Nigeria. She joined the University as a Graduate Assistant in the Department of Pure and Applied Physics in October 1998. She received B.Tech in Pure and Applied Physics in 1997 from LAUTECH, Ogbomoso, M.Sc in Physics from University of Ibadan, Nigeria in 2002 and a Ph.D in Physics from Loughborough University, Loughborough UK in 2015 on Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) Scholarship. She is a member of Nigerian Institute of Physics (MNIP) and Institute of Physics (IOP, UK). Her research interests include theoretical investigation of novel mechanisms for electron and spin transport in nano-structures, and electron transport in semiconductor superlattices. Currently, investigation is on the use of natural dye as sensitizers in the fourth-generation solar cells and other nano particles to enhance the conversion efficiency of solar cells. How the semiconductor superlattices can be adopted in the solar cells and the use of Graphene, a nano particles as a replacement for Indium tin oxide (ITO). ITO can be deposited as a thin film. Using transparent electrodes of organic photovoltaic (OPV) to improve the overall performance of solar cell at lower cost. Currently, looking at the possibility of adding graphene and polymer to act as counter electrodes for Dye-sensitizes solar cells. The recent works include use of perovskite-integrated photo-anode to enhance the performance of Dye-sensitized solar cells. She has published many scientific papers in reputable journals.
