I have been involved in the teaching and research in Electronic and Electrical Engineering Department, both at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. At the undergraduate level, I have successfully collaborated with my research students to develop power supplies and CADET for laboratories use. At Postgraduate level, I have co-supervised three Ph.D. students and I am presently co-supervising two Ph.D. student; I have also supervised seven M. Tech. students and currently supervising four M. Tech. students. My research interest is in the area of Communication Engineering which happens to be the fastest growing area of research and development in the field of Technology in recent time. My studies are geared towards the solution to the problems of Wireless Communication, Multiple Antenna Diversity, and Propagation of Radio waves, Development of prediction models for current wireless technologies such as Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) systems, Universal Mobile Telecommunication System (UMTS), Long Term Evolution Technology (LTE). Also, as the Deputy Dean of Faculty of Engineering and Technology for almost two years, I have assisted the dean in leading the faculty to graduate many M. Tech. and Ph.D. degree students.
