Brief about me

My scholarly works, published in both international and local journals, have disciplinary root in social and political philosophy. Within my disciplinary base, I have published a considerable number of articles in the area of common good, rule of law, constitution and constitutionalism among African states. In all these scholarly works, my interest has been on how to proffer solutions to myriads of problems confronting African states. This attempt is based on the fact that possible solutions could be achieved by looking to the area of constitution and constitutionalism. The aim is to recognise the importance of constitution and constitutionalism in meeting the common good of people in Africa. And since constitutionalism is seen as a commitment to limitations on political power, this commitment to limitation is both on the political power-holders and non-political power-holders in Africa. The adherence to the rule of law, for instance, is a very important ingredient towards the attainment of the common good among African states. There is no doubt that these ideas and views will contribute meaningfully to humanistic idea and development in Africa.
