Brief about me

/Dr. Babatunde Oluseyi Ajiboye was born in the early eighties. He had his primary and secondary school education at Ore-Ofe Oluwa Nursery Primary School and Lagelu Grammar School Ibadan, Oyo State respectively. He obtained his Bachelor and Master degrees at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology and also obtained his Ph.D. at Federal University of Technology, Akure, Nigeria. His area of research is Resource and Environmental Economics where he focuses on climate change resilience, environmental sustainability and Agricultural risk management using both planned and autonomous strategies.

He started his career as a Research Assistant with Centre for Environmental Economics and Policy in Africa (CEEPA) South Africa, covering 34 states in Nigeria. He started his lecturing career on a  part-time basis  at Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, Osun state, after which he joined Landmark University as an Assistance Lecturer in March, 2015 and later joined Ladoke Akintola University of Technology in 2023.

He is currently a senior lecturer in the department of forest resources management, faculty of renewable natural resouces, Ladoke Akintola University of technology, Ogbomoso.

He is not only an academian but also a member of several community development committee within and outside the University.

He has published several articles in reputable local and international journals most of which were index in Scopus and has supervised several undergraduate and postgraduate thesis.

He has also attended several local and international conferences and training including Large Demand Analysis training Using both Online and University Edition of SAS, Sponsored by University of Georgia.
