I am an information scientist with over 15 years of experience. I devote time to constant teaching and research activities in Library and Information Science. My research interests have been centered on Information Technology literacy and
Knowledge Management in academic libraries. I have carried out research on the Impact of ICT on cataloging & classification of library materials. I have also researched into information needs, awareness, and seeking behavior of some groups of people such as students and artisans. My research works on information literacy underscore the fact that information is key to life. Likewise, I have done a few researches on knowledge sharing and self-efficacy of library workers. In fact, my PhD thesis centered on knowledge sharing and self-efficacy as determinants of job satisfaction of library personnel in public universities in South-West, Nigeria. My research findings have shown that challenging issues confronting library personnel’ job satisfaction were enormous and that knowledge sharing and self-efficacy were positively related to job satisfaction of library personnel. My study has added to the body of knowledge in library and information science both in terms of my findings and my conceptual model. In addition, I have published both in local and international journals. I am an experienced and dynamic librarian with skills in Information Technology literacy and knowledge management.
