Brief about me

Adeniyi Adediran Awogbade is an indigene of Ogbomoso, Oyo State, Nigeria. He started his educational career at Ijeru Baptist Primary School and later proceeded to Baptist Grammar School Ajaawa for the post primary school education. He had the privilege to obtain a Bachelor of Technology degree at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, specializing in Animal Production and Health. He proceeded to University of Ibadan for a Master of Science degree in Fisheries Management after satisfying the National Youth Service Corp program. He is currently on the PHD program, at Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Ogun State.

 

Mr Adeniyi Adediran Awogbade started his academic career in 2009 at Bowen University, Iwo, Osun State as an Assistant Lecturer. He has also been a consultant to many farms as fish consultant for many years. He has however joined the prestigious Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso as an academic staff at the department of Fisheries and Aquaculture, Faculty of Renewable Natural Resources in 2023. His area of interest focuses on fish ecology in fresh water environment.

 

Mr Awogbade became a NUFFIC fellow in 2012. He participated in an international short course on Ecosystem approach to Fisheries in the Netherlands on full sponsor by Netherlands Fellowship Program (NPF).

He has published some of his research works in reputable journal and contributed to knowledge among tertiary institution students and farmers in aquaculture business.

 

Mr Awogbade attends to his calling as a lecturer and is always willing to impart knowledge happily.
