Dr. Ayoola, Paul Babatunde is an Associate Professor of Analytical and Applied Chemistry with extensive qualifications in pharmacy Techniques and Natural Health Therapy. He is a lecturer and Researcher in the Department of Science Laboratory Technology, Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Oyo State, Nigeria. He attended Surulere Grammar School, Lagos where he sat for West African School Certificate in 1984. He obtained Pharmacy Technician Certificate from the Lagos state College of Health Technology (Former School of Health Technology) in 1988, he proceeded to the Lagos State University, Ojo, Lagos State where he obtained Bachelor and Master Degrees in Analytical and Environmental Chemistry in 1994 and 2007 respectively. He holds Postgraduate Diploma in Natural Health Therapy from Centre for Natural Health Studies, Lagos in 2001 and Certificate in Computer Operation from Sylva Computer Institute, Lagos in 2003. He also holds Doctorate Degree from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Oyo State, Nigeria in 2015. He joined Ladoke Akintola University of Technology as an Assistant Lecturer in 2008 and rose to the position of a Reader in 2020. He has mentored and supervised many undergraduate and postgraduate students. He had 34 scientific publications in reputable Journals. He specialized in the analysis of food, water and natural products. He is a member of the Institute of Public Analysts of Nigeria (IPAN), Nigerian Institute of Science Laboratory Technology (NISLT) and American Chemical Society. He has attended and participated in many conferences and workshops. Dr. Ayoola is the current Acting Head of Department of Science Laboratory Technology, LAUTECH, Ogbomoso.
