Oluwafisayo Adenike, Adebimpe is a Lecturer and Clinical Psychologist in the Department of Psychiatry, Faculty of Clinical Sciences, College of Health Sciences. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Psychology and contributed immensely to the field of Clinical Psychology with varied work experiences of almost two decades in clinical practice in university teaching hospitals and organized public/private sectors.
She is presently an Honourary Clinical Psychologist at the Ladoke Akintola University Teaching Hospital, Ogbomoso. She has provided consultancy services, advocacy, and sensitization on psychological issues in broadcasting stations, publications in newspapers, and United Nations-sponsored programmes.
Dr. Oluwafisayo Adebimpe is a member of the Nigerian Psychological Association and the Nigerian Association of Clinical Psychologists. She held the position of past National Secretary of the Nigerian Association of Clinical Psychologists. She has served on various committees in the Faculty of Clinical Sciences and College of Health Sciences.
She has authored or co-authored journal papers, co-authored textbooks, and conference papers in international and national publications. She has reviewed journals in local and international publishing outlets. She taught undergraduate medical students, masters of clinical/ health psychology on clinical attachment, postgraduate students in psychiatry residency training, and supervised SIWES undergraduate students from the Department of Psychology in other universities.
Her research interests are mental health, psychopathology, psychological assessments and treatments, psycho-trauma, gender studies, substance use disorders, cross-cultural studies, neuropsychological assessments, and psycho-social interventions.
