Brief about me

Dr. Oluseye Agbede is a Reader in Chemical Engineering at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, Nigeria. He obtained a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Chemical Engineering from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Nigeria, an MSc in Chemical Engineering from the University of Lagos, Akoka, Nigeria, and a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine, London, UK. Oluseye’s research focus is largely in the area of energy and sustainability. His research interest include biomass conversion to biofuels via gasification, pyrolysis, torrefaction, transesterification and anaerobic digestion, drying of biomass, utilization of solar energy, hydrogen production, fuel cells and bio-sorbents. He teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses including chemical engineering process analysis, petroleum production and refining, and engineering analysis. He also supervises both undergraduate and postgraduate research projects.
