I, Odeleke, James Olanrewaju was born about two decades ago. I completed primary and secondary school education in 1989 and 1996 respectively. I proceeded to The Polytechnic, Ibadan to obtain National Diploma (ND) Accounting in 2005.  I was granted permission by the University Management to pursue B.Sc. Accounting which was successfully completed and bagged Bachelor of Science, Accounting in 2015.

I also went for computing and typewriting trainings at Lucky Jax Computing and Secretarial Institute which was affiliated with Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife and University of Ibadan  to obtain 35 and 50wpm typewriting results.  I am versatile and certified in word processing and desktop publishing computer skills.

I worked as Road Marshal I in Federal Road Safety Commission from November 2005 to March 2009 before I joined Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) on March 10, 2009 as Typist I.

I had worked in Internal Audit Department (March 2009 – Dec. 2012), Faculty of Engineering and Technology (Dec. 2012 – Feb. 2016), Directorate of Council Affairs and Legal Matters (Feb. 2016 to March, 2019), Directorate of Human Resources and Development, Senior Staff Unit (March 5 to April 15, 2019) and currently working in the Registrar’s Office from April 15, 2019 up to date. I was converted from Typist cadre to Data Management Officer cadre on October 1, 2016.  I rose through the ranks from Typist I to the position of Senior Data Management Officer before I was employed to my present position as Administrative Officer II on February 1, 2023.

I am a Christian who strongly believe in rapture, death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. I also believe that success can only be achieved through hard work and prayer.
