Adewale Paul Onatunji is a lecturer and researcher in the Department of Statistics, Faculty of Pure and Applied Sciences, LAUTECH, Ogbomoso, Oyo State. He received Bachelor of Science in Statistics(2007) from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ogun State and Professional Diploma in Statistics, degree of Master of Science in Statistics, M.Phil/Ph.D in Statistics in 2000, 2012 and 2023 respectively from the University of Ibadan. Also, he had Postgraduate Diploma in Education(2015) at National Teacher Institute.
Mr Onatunji has taught several courses in the Department of Statistics. He has supervised under graduate students. He has published more than 10 papers and co authored three(3) books. He is a member of Professional Nigerian Statistical Scociety(PNSS) and Teacher Registration Council of Nigeria(TRCN). His areas of interest in Statistics are Bayesian econometrics, Health econometrics, Semiparametric Bayesian modeling and Biostatistics with the use of R language, STATA and BayesX.
In addition to extensive teaching and research, he serves as a level advisor and a member of workshop/seminar committee of the Department of Statistics.
