Brief about me

Dr. Funmilayo Osuolale is an Associate Professor of Chemical Engineering at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso where she graduated with a B. Tech (Hons) in 1999. She holds a Ph.D. Chemical Engineering (2011) with specialization in process integration from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria and Ph.D. Chemical Engineering (2015) with specialization in process modelling and optimization from Newcastle University, United Kingdom.
She has about two decades of teaching and research experience in the University. She is a recipient  of several awards. This include commonwealth scholarship in the United Kingdom from 2011-2015, Commonwealth Alumni community award 2019-2020 and Fulbright visiting scholar at the University of Utah, United States of America from 2021-2022
Dr Osuolale’s research interest is in process integration and energy systems. She has acquired expertise in applied thermodynamics, process modelling and optimization of energy systems. She is also experienced with researches in energy conversion processes such as gasification and pyrolysis of biomass for production of energy, biofuels and hydrogen. Dr. Osuolale has more than forty published articles in peer-reviewed Local, National, and International Journals. She has presented several papers in her area of research interest in National and International Conferences.
