Brief about me

Dr. Oyelowo Gabriel BAYOWA hails from Okemesi-Ekiti in Ekiti West Local Government Area of Ekiti State, Southwestern Nigeria. He joined the service of LadokeAkintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Nigeria in 2008 as Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Earth Sciences, Faculty of Pure and Applied Sciences. He was regularized to Lecturer II in 2011 and re-graded to Lecturer I after he obtained his Ph.D. from the prestigious ObafemiAwolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria in 2013. He rose through the ranks to Associate Professor in 2019. He has many journal articles published offshore and onshore to his credit. He is a member of several professional associations which include but not limited to Nigerian Mining and Geosciences Society (NMGS),Asia-Pacific Chemical, Biological & Environmental Engineering Society, Society of Exploration Geophysicist (SEG),Nigerian Association of Petroleum Explorationists (NAPE) andAmerican Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG). He has attended several conferences locally and abroad. His academic interests include Groundwater, Engineering, Environmental and Petroleum Geophysics. His hobbies include reading geosciences books and journals, watching films and soccer and listening to music. He is happily married with children.
