It is worth mentioning that Dr Olaniyi was inducted among other scholars into the prestigious Nigerian Young Academy in 2021.His research interest is centered on mathematical modelling. He has developed models governed by classical and fractional differential equations, and conducted extensive analysis using a variety of dynamical systems techniques to gain insights into the behaviours of epidemiological, ecological and social processes. In collaboration with other researchers within and outside Nigeria, Dr Olaniyi has published a number of scholarly articles in peer-reviewed journals indexed in reputable databases, such as Scopus and Science Citation Index in Web of Science (WoS). In addition, He is a reviewer to some esteemed journals and scientific publishers, notable among them are Elsevier, Springer Nature, Hindawi, World Scientific, BioMed Central Ltd, Mathematical Review (American Mathematical Society) and Taylor & Francis. He is a Guest Associate Editor to the Mathematical Biology section of the Frontiers in Applied Mathematics and Statistics. Dr Samson Olaniyi is happily married to Dr Temitope Deborah Olaniyi, and the marriage is blessed with children. He can be contacted via solaniyi@lautech.edu.ng for analysis and simulation of mathematical models.
