AGARRY Samuel Enahoro is a Professor of Biochemical and Bioenvironmental Engineering in the Department of Chemical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET), Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, Oyo State. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Benin, Nigeria (2013). His research focus is in the areas of Biochemical Engineering, Bioenvironmental Engineering, Bioremediation Technology, Bioenergy Technology, and Separation Processes; where he currently works on the bioremediation and biodegradation of toxic substances in soil, water, and wastewaters; biosorption of toxic substances from wastewaters using biomass and sediments; bioconversion of agricultural wastes to bioenergy (bio-oil, biodiesel and biogas); biocorrosion studies of oil pipelines; bioelectricity generation from wastewaters using microbial fuel cells; and drying of fruits and vegetables. He has served as the departmental Examination Officer; staff advisor, Nigerian Society of Chemical Engineers, Student Chapter; Departmental Coordinator, Final Year Project Committee; and acting head, Department of Chemical Engineering. He has won the LAUTECH Senate Research Grant (LAU/SRG/13/040). He has successfully supervised many undergraduate projects as well as PhD theses and M.Tech. dissertations. His engagements outside LAUTECH include the followings: served as Head and Professor on accumulated leave in the Department of Chemical Engineering, Federal University, Otuoke (FUOTUOKE), Nigeria (2021-2022); external examiner for undergraduate and postgraduate studies in some Nigerian Universities; and INEC ad hoc-staff as Election Returning Officers for Bayelsa East Senatorial Election (2023) and Bayelsa State (Southern Ijaw LGA) House of Assembly Election (2023), respectively. He belongs to the following professional bodies: Corporate Member, Nigerian Society of Engineers; Corporate Member, Nigerian Society of Chemical Engineers Corporate Member, Society of Petroleum Engineers; and Registered Engineer (COREN). He has published over 100 scholarly papers in refereed, reputable national and high- impact factor international journals and conference proceedings. He has presented several papers at national and international conferences and symposiums.
